FULL ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour (L, D)

In the afternoon, we will visit the infamous Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Hoa Lo is also known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and is where former US presidential candidate John McCain was imprisoned for over 5 years.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc & Hang Mua – Hanoi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel and drive south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh province.

Upon arrival, we will visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, which dates back to the 10th and 11th centuries. The area is one of rice fields cut by picturesque limestone mountains. There are dozens of relics, including the Temple & Tomb of King Dinh and King Le…. Then, we visit Hang Mua (Dancing Cave), where you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city when you reach the top of Ngoa Long Mountain (about 500 stone steps). After lunch, we take a boat trip along Ngo Dong River to visit three caves Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba (Tam Coc) on Ngo Dong River. Our exciting boat trip starts from Van Lam embroidery village then passes through a beautiful landscape of rice fields and karst limestone to three natural caves, the largest of which is 125m long with a ceiling about 2m above the water. The boats are usually rowed by one or two local women who also sell embroidery.

In the afternoon, we will be taken back to Hanoi for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, our guide and bus arrive to take us to Halong Bay.

Enjoy the sunset party on Lan Ha Bay. This is the ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the beautiful sunset moment on Lan Ha Bay. You will also have the opportunity to join our cooking class to challenge your skills in making the famous Vietnamese spring rolls.

Day 4: Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D)

08:15 | Explore the Frog Pond Area Join kayaking and swimming to explore the Frog Pond area – the famous filming location of Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh

09:30 | Return to the boat to check out.

Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B)

Time will be free until our car arrives at the hotel to take us to the airport in good time to board our departure flight. Trip ends.
